White Listing Email
How To "White List" An Email Address
We all receive a ton of email these days. The importance we might place on these communications versus what our email provider thinks in its attempts to protect us from unwanted messages can be different. It can lead to email messages getting caught up and sent to your spam or junk folder. If you manage your contacts from inside the same place as your email, having a person in your contact list will often ensure that messages they send you are received. However, this is not always the case. It works well in GMail but not Outlook.com. To ensure that you receive messages from specific contacts, like mine (haha), you need to add them to your safe sender's list. It is called white-listing and to help you; I have compiled a list information from all the major email apps, providers and email clients on how to do this.
Rather than dump it all into this blog, I have had it published in our Knowledge Base, a self-help resource available to provide immediate access to questions and solutions for Thunderstruck Canada and broken it down into categories for you.
- Email Clients: How to add contacts to Safe Senders list.
- Mobile Apps: How to add contacts to Safe Senders list.
- Security & Anti-Spam: How to add contacts to Safe Senders list.

If you are not receiving email from Thunderstruck Canada and have subscribed to receive any of our Competition or Blog updates, one of the above resources should help resolve your issue. If you continue to have problems, please submit at ticket.
